Common questions
What and who is Fikso AS?
Fikso is a marketplace that connects clients with professionals. The job agreement is normally made between the client and the professional. Fikso provides the platform, the payment flow and help in line with the applicable terms.
Where is the money before payout?
The payment is handled by the payment provider shown on the payment screen. The money is not paid out to the professional until the conditions for payout are met. Please note that the funds are not held in Fikso's ordinary operating account, but in a separate client account.
When does the professional get paid?
Payout happens when the client has approved the work, or when other agreed conditions are met. The client must therefore check the work and any necessary documentation before approving.
What happens if there is a disagreement?
Report the problem in Fikso before the payout is approved. The payout is paused, and both parties get the opportunity to explain the case and submit documentation. Fikso handles the case in line with the applicable terms.
What documentation should be submitted?
Only send what is relevant to the case, for example the job description, messages, photos, invoices, receipts and approved changes.
Payment outside Fikso?
Payments outside Fikso are not covered by Fikso's payment protection. As a result, Fikso cannot withhold and/or trace the payment if something goes wrong.
Does Fikso check the professionals?
Fikso has no legal responsibility for the individual professional, including their ability to carry out the work and their financial reliability. The documented profile shows business information and similar details, and may vary between professionals. The client should always check relevant approvals and qualifications themselves before the job starts.
Does Fikso guarantee the work?
No. Fikso makes the agreement and the payment more secure, but does not carry out the work and therefore cannot guarantee the delivery. The client has statutory rights, including the right to complain about defects.
How do I protect myself against fraud?
Keep the agreement, the communication and the payment in Fikso. Never share BankID codes, passwords, PIN codes or one-time codes. Fikso support will never ask for this information.
How is my personal data processed?
Fikso uses personal data to provide the platform, process payments, prevent misuse and handle support and disputes. You can find more information in Fikso's privacy policy.
Where can I get help?
Contact Fikso support through the help center. If your question is about a job, include the job number, but never send card details, BankID codes or passwords.
This page gives a short explanation. Fikso's applicable terms and privacy policy take precedence over this FAQ if anything is unclear or contradictory.
