These prices are provided as guidance only and are not fixed Fikso prices. The final price is determined by the service provider's quote and may vary depending on the scope and complexity of the job, materials, travel, parking, equipment, timing and urgency.
Quotes for consumers should display the total price, including VAT and mandatory charges where applicable.
How Fikso works
Step 1 - Describe the job
Select the appropriate category and describe the service you need. You can add photos, your preferred date, the address and any other information that helps service providers understand the job.
Step 2 - Receive and compare quotes
Relevant service providers can submit quotes through Fikso. Compare the total price, what is included, expected completion time, availability and the provider's profile before making your choice.
Step 3 - Choose a service provider and pay
Once you have selected a quote, the agreed price and scope of work are documented through Fikso, and you pay through Fikso's payment solution. The service provider is paid out only after the service has been completed and approved in accordance with the agreement.
Step 4 - Approve the completed job
Once the job is complete, you review the result and confirm completion. Fikso then approves the payout to the service provider. If a disagreement arises, the payout is frozen while both parties submit documentation and the matter is handled in accordance with Fikso's applicable terms.
Frequently asked questions about prices and jobs
How are the indicative prices calculated?
The price ranges are based on published market rates, provider prices and available pricing data for Norway. They are reviewed regularly, but an individual quote may be either lower or higher.
Are the prices on this page binding?
No. The prices are intended as general guidance only. The quote you accept from the service provider determines the agreed price and what must be delivered.
What should be included in a quote?
The quote should clearly show labour costs, materials, travel, parking, equipment, additional charges and VAT where applicable. It should also explain what is not included.
Can the price change after a quote has been accepted?
The price should only change if you approve a change to the job or if unforeseen circumstances arise that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand. Additional work and revised pricing should always be agreed and documented before the work continues.
When does the service provider get paid?
The service provider is paid out after the job, or an agreed milestone, has been completed and the payout has been approved. The specific payment schedule will be shown in the agreement for the job.
What happens if we disagree?
If a disagreement arises, the disputed payment remains on hold. The customer and service provider can submit photos, messages, agreements and other relevant documentation before the matter is handled in accordance with Fikso's applicable terms.
